Geoffrey Asmus Saint Louis Concert reviews
Overall, the talented musician Geoffrey Asmus delivered an excellent performance. He played a great mix of well-known and lesser-known songs, sounding amazing. The intimate performance didn't have much time wasted on talking between songs. However, the venue at the Heymann Center had some shortcomings. Arriving 30 minutes prior to the show, we waited 45 minutes in line for beverages (a bottle of water for me, a mixed drink for my husband). There was no security or bag check upon entering, and the bathrooms were not very clean and had a foul smell. Despite these issues, we had a great time mainly thanks to the skilled musician rather than the location.
